Matthew’s career in the sector began in the early nineties, working at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He then founded Real Time Financial Management in 1998, where he developed the ground-breaking system ‘Martini’ (later purchased by SunGard [now FIS] and renamed to ‘Apex’). In 2008, he joined Rule Financial as a director, which eventually led to him co-founding Trading Apps Ltd in 2011.
Stefan heads up our development team, having worked as a team leader and programmer for RBS, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Martini (now FIS). He spent 9 years at SunGard Financial Systems, and led the developers at Apex Securities Finance and Global One.
An expert in both prime services and Securities Finance technology, Matt is the bridge between our clients and developers. Before Trading Apps, Matt had Prime Services IT roles at Daiwa, Barclays and CoreOne Technologies (now IHS Markit). Most recently he was Global Head of Securities Lending Technology for Nomura International.
Ciarán is an award-winning finance specialist. He worked closely with the original Trading Apps and led the internal acquisition to create the new company in 2020. His expertise and governance will be invaluable as we begin our next exciting growth phase.
Joining the team as a sector newcomer, Den has proven success in growing, connecting and commercialising businesses. He will help develop the structure, strategic processes and commercial approach of Trading Apps as we grow.
